When and in what Third World area should I provide free medical care?

You're only 17 and 10 years or so could change a lot in the world. Perhaps you should wait until you're done and you've achieved your medical degree - THEN decide where to go. Better yet, join an organization like Doctors Without Borders - they will send you to a place that needs the most help.
