Help me Please before i KILL MYSELF with the price and question ps3?

Honestly I don't think people will buy a PS3 with the high price of over 300 dollars. Nintendo Wii are flying off the shelf at 249.99 as well as Microsoft Xbox 360 because of the price drop down to 199.99. The PS3 is too much a high price and especially when the economy as it is people tend to be conserving their money instead of buying outrageous things. Here in Southern California, USA, I see more PS3 on the shelves at retail stores than any other consoles.
