Vet techs/cat experts-kitten question,please reply?

i found a starving kitten ,about 5 weeks old at the time.she had immediate vet care and has been doing gr8.about 9 weeks old now.last night and this morning,instead of her usual ravenous appetite,she has eaten a few bites and walked away.i am concerned.yet,she is playing,running around the house like a mile a minute,no discharge from eyes/nose/mouth.no sneezing.no lethargy.acts normal.just eating less.i have been feeding her about a tablespoon of wet/dry mixed kitten food 4x a day.she ate about a teaspoon this morning,not hungry now.we have only one car,and my husband is working till 8 tonight,the vet will be closed when my husband arrives home.we can take her to the vet b4 work 2morro.i am off 2day,but i am worried sick.am i overly concerned-or does her sudden decrease in last 2 meals mean she is getting sick?there is no one in this neighborhood or anyone that can take us to the vet till 2morro.is this bad or normal or what?any help greatfully accepted.please dont say u should not get a pet if only one of u has a car,we FOUND her,and saved her from death.we will keep her for life,which is more than the person who dumped her on my porch was prepared to do!(dont mean to sound cruel,but a lot of people on this site get sort of mean sometimes.)i am the responsible,worried one.the person who is bad,is the person who left her ,starving on my doorstep!

I got the game last night and I haven't scored once with my guy and I've played many games. He is a LW sniper. I have never played hockey in real life so I don't know where he is supposed to be positioned to score and such. Table decor with corn husks?

Sounds good to me, but you might like to throw in a few ears of corn, or maybe a few small gourds, to give it some color. Corn husks are a nice tan color, but would be pretty boring all by themselves. A rustic basket might work better with the husks than a gl vase. Lay the husks in the basket and arrange the corn or gourds over the husks. .

Ok im a 15 year old female. And so today i went to applebees, i ate their salad and chicken alfredo. So after i went to the bathroom right, Then i went number 2 like not to be gross, but dihhrea. And it was green. So i went back and finished eating my salad. When i got home i went to use the bathroom and im not sure if it was dirrhea this time but it was green again. And maybe on 2 stools there was a little blood, not on the whole stool but part of it. This had happend before (the blood), like for a month or 2. Why can't I ever make my father proud?

It's been over five years since I graduated college (I am 29) and I've gone from being a lowly bartender to an extremely successful employee at a financial services firm. Basically I've built my success from the ground up, but I can never, ever, get so much as an acknowledgment or a hint of praise from my father. As soon as I attain success, he tells me to race to the next milepost, and does not even let me relax for a moment and enjoy my accomplishments. He will not stop telling me to get an MBA (which I do NOT need as I am making excellent money right now - and I do NOT want to go back to school) and picking apart and yzing every single aspect of my life, to the point where I am just simply exasperated and despondent. the best advice I ever had for my 3 asthmatic kids was to make their home environment as safe as possible for them. Since a person spends a long period in their bedroom, this is where we concentrated our efforts. We did the following: no carpet, curtain, books or stuffed animals stored in there. All involve dust mites and dander. kept closet door closed. Did not use any strong smelling soap or fabric softener on kids clothes, especially the bedding. Had the mattress and pillow covered with allergy covers. Did not use air fresheners, especially spray ones. changed furnace filters often and used the allergy ones. no house pets. That way, they had at least one place that the were reasonably sure the asthma wouldn't bother them. I know it sounds strict but if you can't breath, you can't breath. Also, get into shape asap. If your body is strong, you will be able to handle the attacks when they come. Also watch food. My oldest daughter couldn't eat sunflower seeds. We never figured out if it was the nut itself or the dust in the bag that effected her. Good luck, I know suffering like that is tough.

I rent a house with a septic tank, and in my back yard, around the area where i think the tank is burried, a just noticed a hole in the ground. Its about 2 feet wide, and 6 feet deep. What is a good thing to use to raise the height of my 6' privacy fence?

American's don't say they are "mixed". I have never heard that terminology and I am an American. The only I tine I have ever heard that term is by old people referring to someone who is mulatto. However, America is a very young country. Most American's know where their ancestors came from because it was typically a Grandparent or Great Grandparent. Basically not very far removed. So you can say to most American's "what is your ancestry" They will know the percentages, like myself I am 1/2 Polish, 1/4 Czech 1/8 English and 1/8 Irish. Ok. So my cousin is a druggie and last night she got drugged out of her mind and filled her 3-month old's bottle with Mike's Hard Lemonade and fed it to the baby. Anyway, this morning I called DSS (first thing) and they are going to check into it. They were having a hard time finding the baby because my cousin is still out of her mind and she won't tell them where the baby is. I told them where I thought the baby was. Anyway, I want to know what the possibility is that when they find this child they will be able to do an alcohol blood level and find something? This all happened last night around 8:00. DSS said that if they could find the baby and find alcohol in its system, they would remove it from the home ASAP.

Why are little kids so annoying and crazy?

How can I get my zippo to light more reliably?

My flint is working because I see plenty of sparks and my zippo is full of lighter fluid. It will work for about an hour after I refill it, but then stop and it will burn well if I light it with another source or dampen the wick with lighter fluid. But I can't get it to light a few hours after refilling, or if I do its only after about 10 tries. I get the sense that the wick isn't getting any fuel but I already tried trimming and pulling out the wick. Please Help, Thanks!

It's very confusing for a dog to be praised for going on the pad and then expected to do the same thing outside. In the morning take him out AS SOON as he wakes up because he will most likely have to pee, and right after he goes say something like "good potty" and get really excited. My dog has a laceration and it is starting to stink.?

It was done while we were gone the other day and when we got home too much time elapsed in order for him to get it stitched. He has been on cephaxalin for two days. Tonight when I took off his bandage to change it I freaked. It stunk and was getting black in some places. I tried to call an emergency vet and the only one we had around us has closed down. I cleaned it really well with saline solution and put anibacterial dressing on it. Will he be ok until tomorrow. Does anyone know if this is normal for a deep laceration? I didn't know if it might be part of the healing process. I really don't think it is if it smells and looks the way it does....please help

OK, I love my husband very much. His confidence is one of the things that I fell in love with first....HOWEVER sometimes (a lot acutally) he claims to know about things that he knows nothing about. Example: he and I have been together for 17 years. Never once have we ever camped. A friend of his invited him to go camping last wknd on a VERY rustic camping/fishing trip. My husband kept saying, "oh yea, I've camped lots of times, I know all about it, I was born to be in the woods" stuff like that. This is just one example of his know it all attitude, but I was wondering if most guys are like this, or if most guys who aren't campers and know nothing about it would just fess up and admit it. How can I help my dog be less nervous around strangers?

My puppy is about 8 months old, and is really wary of strangers. When a new person comes in he stands four or five feet away and bark at them, and refuses to go near them for a couple of hours. Neither of our other dogs are like that. I know I shouldn't tell him it's okay and coddle him, because that's reinforcing the behavior, and I don't want to add to his stress by snapping 'No' at him, so how can I correct this behavior and help him feel more at ease with strangers?

I learned that Guam was a territory a couple days ago, and that The Northern Mariana Islands and American Samoa exist and are US Territories around the same time. I am a honors student and usually get A's and B's with an occasional C. Even the CIA World Fact Book lists them as a country... Why??? I think that at least 60% of the country doesn't know that Puerto Rico is a territory and Puerto Rico's Population is higher than 24 US states, Just under 4,000,000 people live there. Why don't people think it's part of the US? They ARE US Citizens, they can run for president, yet I was wrongly taught that they were Foreign Countries in School, Why? There are extremists in every religion. People use it to justify stupid things MANY times throughout history. One of my best friends ever is a Muslim (albeit not a very outspoken one) and I honestly chalk it up to stupidity on certain people's parts, not on the religion as a whole. And you know what? Rawr. AFAIK (and I could be wrong,) Islam teaches a "scale" of good and evil deeds and if the good outweighs the bad, you're pretty much good. Wow sounds like you do have a problem here? Really the only thing I can suggest here and because you said at the end it ran and died and start back up after would be the torque converter solenoid that may be bad here. When the transmission gets hot the TCS stays engage causing the vehicle to stall out when you are coming to a stop. When it cools it unlocks letting the vehicle start again. What you can try doing at this point to see if it is this problem is in front of the transmission unplug the TCS connector and see if it starts up. If it does then the way you repair it is by removing the side transmission pan to get to the solenoid. You should be able to drive with it disconnected but your check engine light will stay on. Now PLEASE keep me posted and let me know if this worked or not?
